MoxTree Announces Official Launch of New Platform

“Mom Matching” Social Media Platform Allows Moms to Connect On Multiple Levels

Seattle, WA— MoxTree, an innovative social media platform that matches moms within their community and allows them to share experiences, announced today the launch of its new platform, which brings the site out of beta and debuts a new desktop and mobile site, as well as group creation capabilities.

The entirely new platform was developed from the ground up by Victoria Oldridge – a busy mom of two – and refined by community feedback during the site’s beta.

The new site is designed to allow moms to easily find other local moms with overlapping interests. One key feature developed as a response to high demand, is the convenience of allowing users to create personalized online mom groups. The new launch enhancements also include a streamlined interface; a more streamlined sign-up process; a faster registration process; and an easier ability to add connections. The new site is designed to allow moms to easily find other moms in their area with overlapping interests. “Having a child in common is a great place to start when connecting with other moms, but it's not enough to form sustainable relationships,” Oldridge said. “We need to come together based on community-specific commonalities, lifestyle elements and personal interests in order to facilitate our connection.”

Oldridge also saw opportunity in the fact that women are embracing social media in record numbers. According to a recent study by Keith Hampton at Rutgers University, women make up 58 percent of users on all social networking sites. “Hopefully, we truly can change the way moms connect so that it is

“Hopefully, we truly can change the way moms connect so that it is easier, more efficient and takes into account the entire modern mom, ” Oldridge said.

Starting today, the new MoxTree is officially available at www.moxtree.com. Profiles from the beta version of MoxTree have been upgraded to the new platform.
